The tool takes the voltage and the required load in amps, or a kVA, and finds the smallest generator in its table. Choose the transfer switch and it sizes the breaker, conductors, EGC, raceway, SBJ and GEC, and draws the one-line.
The one-line the Suite drew for a 225 A load at 480 V with a 4-pole, switched-neutral transfer switch. Each numbered note matches a line of the report.

The report the Suite wrote for this example: the inputs, the seven figures, and the one-line on the second page.
Inputs 480 V and 225 A; smallest generator 187 kVA / 150 kW, 300 A breaker, 4 x 250 kcmil Cu, 4-pole switched-neutral transfer switch, SBJ / GEC 2 AWG Cu.
Entered by hand: 480 V and a 225 A load, worked out with Find Generator, then a 4-pole, switched-neutral transfer switch chosen for the one-line.

STEP 1 OF 4The example in, before it is worked out: 480 V and a 225 A required load, the transfer switch not yet chosen, and the generator table from 18.7 to 187 kVA.

STEP 2 OF 4Find Generator (amps → size): smallest generator 187 kVA / 150 kW, 225 A at 480 V. With the 4-pole, switched-neutral transfer switch chosen, the one-line is drawn.

STEP 3 OF 4The full one-line, the separately derived system note, and the seven figures under it: 300 A breaker, 4 x 250 kcmil Cu, 4 AWG Cu EGC, 2-1/2 in EMT, SBJ / GEC 2 AWG Cu.

STEP 4 OF 4Further down: the seven figures, then the generator table, where 187 kVA / 150 kW reads 225 A at 480 V.
