Grounding and Bonding

Grounding and Bonding takes the service conductors, the electrodes present at the building and how the GEC runs, and gives back the main bonding jumper and the GEC to each electrode, with the 2023 NEC section for every answer and a drawing.

The drawing

The drawing the Suite wrote for a 4/0 AWG aluminum service with a water pipe, a footing and ground rods: each conductor numbered, and each number answered underneath.

Drawing the program wrote: The service panel with its main bonding jumper (1), and the GEC to the water pipe within 5 ft of entry (2), to the footing (3) and to two rods 8 ft in the earth and 6 ft or more apart (4). Below it: 4 AWG Cu (or 2 AWG Al) for the jumper, 4 AWG Cu to the water pipe and the footing, 6 AWG Cu to the rods, then the checks and the common violations.

The report it writes

The report the Suite wrote for this example: the inputs and the worked-out answers, then the drawing on its own page.
